‘THE DIXIE SWIM CLUB’ PREMIERES AT THE GRANGE

(Friday, August 15 – Sunday, August 17)

You won’t want to miss this hilarious play about five Southern women whose friendship began on their college swim team who set aside a long weekend each year to recharge their friendship.  Every August they meet at the same beach cottage on North Carolina’s Outer Banks to laugh, catch up and meddle in each others lives.  THE DIXIE SWIM CLUB focuses on four of these weekends over a period of thirty-three years. This play features Mary Bayley as the super organized team captain; Patty Monaco as Lexie who enjoys being married - over and over again; Louise Carnachan the wise-cracking overachiever, a career dynamo who can’t seem to get her personal life going; Melinda Milligan as the self-deprecating Vernadette, straight out of a country song who has embraced the chaos of her life and Suzanne Gropper as the sweet, eager-to-please nun who finds a new calling. There will be just three performances of this fully staged reading.  Performances will be Friday, August 15th, Saturday, August 16th and Sunday, August 17th at 7:30 pm at the Grange.  Tickets are $10 and are available at the door or at Darvill’s Book Store. THE DIXIE SWIM CLUB

DON’T MISS THIS PLAY!!!
